Illa Fantasia in Barcelona is one of the largest water parks of Europe: 70,000 square meters that include 22 rides and slides, and 3 giant pools of more than 1.500 square meters. It is a major touristic attraction 30 minutes away from the city center via the free shuttle bus service that they offer.

The wave pool – If you are looking to get the feeling of a Carribean Beach, without the annoying sand that gets everywhere, Illa Fantasia has the next best thing: a 2,000 square meters wave pool with more than 2 million liters of water.

The Garden of Earthly Delights – Several tubular sculptures of about 12 meters in height, from which the water falls in a spectacular water show it is just about one of the most amazing sights to look at. It is a delight for the children and a joy for the adults. But the real show begins at nightfall, when the entire pool bursts into a light show that will amaze you!

Kamikazes – Now, if you are looking for an adrenaline rush this is the biggest and meanest ride that you can experience in the park. An extreme 18 meter high drop. You will reach speeds of more than 60kmh in less than 5 seconds. But the ride will end in a relaxing dive in the pool to allow yourself to pick up whatever is left of your courage and go again!

The park is easy to navigate and you should not have any trouble finding the food area, it has a multitude of fast food venues to choose from.

If you are looking for a more formal dining experience, El Chef Restaurant offers it. There is also a coffee place, a pancake parlor and a dedicated barbecue area, also there is a supermarket right next to the park so you will not have to pack your meals and bring them along on the bus.

• The shuttle bus is a very good option, especially if you are not familiar with the roads or you are traveling with your family, it is free and you will not have to worry about directions.
• Make sure you have your ticket in order to get on the bus!

• The tickets are priced on a height basis: Over 120cm – 28€; under 120cm – 17€; under 90cm – Free (Prices are relevant to the 2017 Season).
• The best way to purchase tickets is online, because you can see the discount offers they have and also to skip the ticket line, but you can only use them the following day.
