Olympic Port

General Information

Olympic Port area is the northern part of Port Vell in Barcelona. Until 1992, when the Olympic Games were organized in the Catalan city, this site did not have any significance in the life of the city. In order to host the Olympic Games, it was rebuilt and became an important tourist center.

Olympic Port area is not one of the main tourist attractions of Barcelona, but due to its proximity to the beach, it is very popular among tourists who visit Barcelona. It is full of restaurants and there are also some high level hotels with casinos.
