General Information

Monistrol de Montserrat (Monastery of Montserrat) is one of the most popular attractions in Catalonia outside of Barcelona. It is an ancient Benedictine abbey located in the amazingly beautiful mountains near Barcelona.

There are only a few hotels in the area of the monastery, and in general for most of the visitors it is not really recommended to stay there for the night.
