General Information

Gracia is a unique and colorful district which makes it strongly recommended for families with children. Park Güell is particularly recommended for kids but there are also many other interesting attractions for them in any other part of the district. During the month of August, when the famous Festa Major de Gracia (Gracia Festival) takes place, there are even more attractions and shows that could be interesting for kids. It is a good idea to tell children some historical information about the quarter before the trip. Useful and interesting topics could be the events of the Spanish Civil War, the history of the district, the Catalan minority in Spain and the characteristics of the modern architecture.
