General Information

Teatro-Museu Dalí (Museum of Salvador Dali) is not a regular museum because Dalí’s art is surrealistic, unique and colorful. For this reason, it is quite a popular attraction amongst tourists with children. Children are eligible to a discount to the museum, and those who are under the age of 8 enter free of charge.

One must be aware of the fact though, that sexuality and nudity were important motifs for the artist and due to this, many erotic paintings re exhibited in the museum. Hence conservative and religious families might choose other attraction instead of it.

Another suggested family-friendly attraction nearby in the town of Figueres is Museu del Joguet de Catalunya (Toy Museum of Catalonia).
