General Information

Santa Maria del Mar is a Gothic church located in El Born quarter of Barcelona. It is not one of the most recommended attractions for families who visit Barcelona because it is a religious and historical attraction and kids usually find these topics boring.

Nevertheless, the church is visited by many families with children. It can be a nice family program because the visit is free and not too long. Moreover, like all Gothic churches in the world, Santa Maria del Mar is an attractive building that can arouse the imagination of the little ones.
