General Information
Although Barrio Judio (the Jewish Quarter) is a very old district, the streets are wide enough to be accessible by wheelchair. Nonetheless, during the summer the area is usually overcrowded, so it is recommended for people with disabilities who wish to visit the quarter during summer time, to do so in the morning or in the afternoon.
The main landmark of the district, Sinagoga Major de Barcelona (Ancient Synagogue of Barcelona), is also wheelchair-friendly (for additional information – Accessibility in Sinagoga Major de Barcelona).
