General Information

Like many other museums in Barcelona, CosmoCaixa (Science Museum) is fully accessible for people with disabilities. There are several rooms where visitors who have vision impaired can receive information through touching or by using an audio descriptive system. Additionally, there are texts in braille format.

CosmoCaixa is almost completely accessible by wheelchair, there is also an option to rent a wheelchair at the museum (please address the information point). Moreover, the staff of the museum is very helpful and knows how to help. To avoid stairs, it is advised to use the rear entrance (for additional information – Accessibility in Barcelona).
