Accessibility in Museu de Cera

General Information

Most of Museu de Cera (Wax Museum) (90%) is accessible for people with disabilities. Due to the ramp it is easy to get inside the museum but some parts of the building can be problematic for those who are with a wheelchair. It is advised to call the museum before your visit and to announce if you want to get help from the staff. They can also explain which parts and which are not accessible by wheelchair.

If you want to visit Museu de Cera by wheelchair, it is recommended to arrive by bus or by metro, the nearby metro station, Drassanes (L3), is wheelchair-friendly.

The area of the museum is wheelchair-friendly too (for additional information – Accessibility in La RamblaAccessibility in Barcelona). Moreover, you can find there several good 3 star and 4 star hotels that are accessible by wheelchair. Though the neighborhood is in the city center, accommodation is cheaper there than near Placa de Catalunya (for additional information –Accessible HotelsHotels near Museu de Cera and Hotels in Barcelona).
