Accessibility in Plaça de Sant Jaume

General Information

Plaça de Sant Jaume itself is a fully accessible place for wheelchair, but it is not among the main attractions of the city and it is not so interesting for most of the tourist visiting Barcelona for the first time. The square is fully accessible by wheelchair and it has one of the widest streets of the Gothic Quarter, so there should be no problem moving around with a wheelchair or a scooter.

There is no problem getting to this attraction using public transportation if you have movement disabilities because Liceu (L3) metro station and the bus stations are adapted for wheelchair. All in all you should not encounter any difficulties moving around or arriving to Plaça de Sant Jaume.
