Accessibility in La Sagrada Familia

General Information

The Sagrada Familia is almost fully accessible for the disabled. There is a special accessible entrance in the southwest part of the church on the Nativity facade. Moreover, the disabled are eligible to enter the church free of charge (for additional information – Accessibility in Barcelona).

The queues in the Sagrada Familia are very long during the high season, and since it can be problematic to stay in a long queue with a wheelchair, it is suggested to book the tickets in advance (for additional information – Sagrada Familia tickets).

Though the greatest part of Sagrada Familia is wheelchair friendly, the lifts are not accessible (one have to use the stairs to reach the lift, for additional information – Visit the Sagrada Familia Towers) and the ramp to the lower level which contains the museum is quite steep.
