General Information

A trip to El Born can be a good choice for families with kids, due to the old buildings that can be interesting for children. Beside this, there are a lot of shops and supermarkets in this part of the city, and nearby is the Parc de la Ciutadella (Citadel Park) which is very popular among kids.

Within the park, they can also visit the Zoo de Barcelona and the Museu de Ciencies Naturals de Barcelona (Natural History Museum of Barcelona), where a lot of interesting exhibitions are hosted. There is also a small, beautiful lake in Parc de la Ciutadella, where rowing boats are available for rent (for additional information – Kids and Families in Parc de la Ciutadella).
