Q: What is the Aerobus route?
A: Aerobus Barcelona operates between Barcelona and El Prat, the international airport of the city. In contrast with the public buses, this service has a quite direct route (for additional information – Aerobus Barcelona – Length of the Route). It only stops at the airport and the most important landmarks of the city.
Line A1 starts from and arrives at Terminal 1. Line A2 has three stations in Terminal 2 (at T2A, T2B and T2C). (for additional information – Aerobus Barcelona – Difference between A1 and A2).
Inside the city, the two bus lines stop at the same stations; there are three stations on the route to the airport: Pl. Catalunya, Sepúlveda-Urgell and Pl. Espanya, and four on its way back to Barcelona: Pl. Espanya, Gran Via-Urgell, Pl. Universitat and Pl. Catalunya.
It is suggested to review the real-time timetable and departure times on Aerobus Barcelona’s website because you will be able to find the bus’ location on a map and stay updated in regards to when the next bus will arrive at a certain station (for additional information – Stations of Aerobus Barcelona and Where can I catch Aerobus Barcelona?).
You should take into consideration that, unlike public buses, Aerobus does not operate in the small towns around Barcelona (for additional information – Aerobus or Public Bus?).
During several large events, such as New Year’s Eve, Barcelona Marathon, etc. the schedule and route of Aerobus may change, therefore it is recommended to follow the Facebook Page and Twitter in case there might be any updates (for additional information – Operating Hours of Aerobus Barcelona).
