Gran Teatre del Liceu (Opera House Liceu) is located in the middle of La Rambla boulevard, near La Boqueria market and the Gothic Quarter which is a very central area in Barcelona. Due to this, hotels near the opera house are extremely expensive. Actually, together with hotels in the area of Plaça de Catalunya, hotels situated in this neighborhood are the most expensive ones in Barcelona. So we recommend them for those who want to be in the centre of the city and are ready to pay for it.

Tips and Recommendations

• If you want to stay in a hotel near Gran Teatre del Liceu in summer, it is recommended to book it in advance.
• If you want to save money but also to stay in the area of Gran Teatre del Liceu, near La Rambla, you can consider the El Raval neighborhood. • Hotels near Gran Teatre del Liceu can be very crowded and noisy, mainly in the summertime. So if you have problem with crowd and noise we do not recommended the area.
