Q: Is it Recommended to Visit the Towers of Sagrada Familia?

A: First of all, the entrance to the towers of Sagrada Familia is not included in the church’s entrance fee. Sagrada Familia has two towers, both of them are a nice attractions. One of them provides view towards the center of Barcelona, and the second one lookouts to the east part of the Catalan city.

Though the towers of Sagrada Familia are beautiful, the design of the church is very similar to their design so if your budget is limited you can skip them in order not to pay extra money. There are other nice viewpoints that provides a bird’s-eye lookout to the city and that are free of charge, for example the top of the Montjuïc right by the Castle, or the hill on top of Park Güell (for additional information – Barcelona for Free).

Entrance to the towers is not allowed for children under 6 years (for additional information – Kids and Families in La Sagrada Familia and Kids and Families in Barcelona). People with disabilities should note that the lifts to the towers are not accessible, and if they wish to have a nice look out of Barcelona there are other accessible options to do so (for additional information – Accessible Lookouts to Barcelona, Accessibility in La Sagrada Familia and Accessibility in Barcelona).
